About our Open Day

This popular event will be open to the public. It is held on the first Saturday in
October at the club’s headquarters at 65 Ulm Street South, Caloundra.

There will be lots of members’ work on display featuring the wonderful talents of multiple fine woodworkers. This will include beautiful jewellery boxes, musical instruments, clocks, bowls, tables carvings, pyrography and heaps more.

You will also have the opportunity to purchase quality works, for Christmas or for other occasions at bargain prices.

A huge raffle will be held progressively throughout the day with dozens of prizes donated by members. Winners do not need to be present for the draws.

Various demonstrations of different techniques will be held. Talk to a friendly woodworker and hear the benefits of joining this great club – it caters for ladies as well as men.

Refreshments will be available, including tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes and a sausage sizzle.

The hours are 9 am to 4 pm and entry is by gold coin donation. There will be plenty of free parking. Further information can be obtained from 0432 453 263
